Price of School Lunches:

The price of a school lunch is £2.30 per day. This offers excellent value for money with a daily choice of a meat or vegetarian main course, vegetables, a range of salads and dessert or fruit.

School lunches can be paid for weekly, half termly, termly or as far in advance as is convenient for you. Payment should be made via Pay 360 (SIMS Pay).  If your child is absent you will not be charged for lunch as long as the office is notified by 10 a.m. on the day of absence.

Eligibility for Free School Meals, including for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 Children:

Children whose parents or guardians are in receipt of Income Support, Income Based Jobseekers Allowance or Child Tax Credit (but not Working Tax Credit) may be eligible for free school meals. Please complete the document found in the link above to apply for your child for free school meals. If you are unsure whether your child is eligible, we advise you to make an application in all cases.

(Universal infant school meals): If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 they qualify for a free school meal under the universal infant school meals scheme.

Please note that the Eligibility for Free School Meals (Rec – Y6) is different from Universal infant school meals scheme.

Please ensure you register your child as being eligible for free school meals if appropriate. The school receives additional funding from the government for each eligible child. This extra funding benefits the whole school.

Packed Lunches:

Please remember we are a healthy school and packed lunches must not contain fizzy drinks or sweets. They need to be brought to school in plastic containers.  Please do not include any nut based products, e.g peanut butter, as there are children at the school with nut allergies.
