The Governors and Staff of St. Charles Catholic School advocate school uniform for the following reasons:
- It helps to foster a sense of belonging to our community.
 - All children are seen to be equal, in dress at least, regardless of financial circumstances.
 - It assures both parents and teachers that their child is wearing clothes that are suitable for work in School.
 - It encourages the child to take a pride in his / her appearance and School.
 
Therefore, parents are expected to send their children to School wearing the appropriate uniform as listed below and as agreed in the Parent/School Agreement Form.

For health and hygiene reasons both boys and girls are expected to change in to appropriate clothing for Physical Education and Games.
