The Mayor’s Excellence in Music Award

We were delighted and very honoured to be selected to receive the Mayor’s Excellence in Music Award for 2017.
This was presented to Ann Slavin (Head Teacher) and Yvonne Sebuyira (Music Coordinator) by Darcey Bussell during the Mayor’s Education Conference at City Hall. Joanne McCartney (Deputy Mayor) was also in attendance.

This was awarded in recognition of the outstanding provision the School offers its children which includes specialist music tuition, opportunities to join the two School choirs and the School Orchestra and enrichment pathways provided through the Tri-Borough Music Hub and its partner organizations (The Royal Albert Hall and The Royal College of Music).
