At St Charles we are proud of the high-quality Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) education we provide.

In Nursery, children benefit from the full EYFS curriculum. Through play, exploration, and creativity, they develop essential skills in communication, confidence, and independence, building strong foundations for future learning.

In Reception, these foundations are deepened and extended, with children thriving in a nurturing and stimulating environment where they make excellent progress across all areas of learning.

Children who start their journey with us in Nursery and Reception settle quickly, grow in confidence, and continue to flourish throughout Key Stages 1 and 2. By the end of Year 6, many achieve results well above national expectations, leaving us as capable, enthusiastic learners fully prepared for secondary school.
