St Charles Super Council

Our School Super Council meets each week to look for ways to improve our School by discussing ideas and views raised by all children in the School.

We are called the Super Council because we are a combination of the Student, Eco and Art Councils all rolled into one.

The Super Council is made up of 14 children from Reception to Year 6.

These children are elected to be representatives for their year group by their classmates and attend weekly meetings to discuss relevant matters of interest concerning School organisation and development.

Any child in the School may put forward a suggestion to the Super Council by simply posting a note into the class suggestion box or by speaking to their year group councillors.

A response will be made by the Super Council either by addressing the class directly or during one of the school assembles.

The aim of the School Super Council is to develop an awareness of citizenship and involves all children, to some extent, in the running of the school.
