Classical 100 Launch

We were delighted and very honoured to be chosen to host the launch of a new free music app called Classical 100 on Monday 19^th October 2015. The app gives pupils access to 100 exciting pieces of classical music, from Bach to Bernstein and Susato to Fitkin. Developed by the ABRSM in conjunction with Classic FM and Decca, Classical 100 is supported by the Department for Education.

Nick Gibb, Schools Minister, came to St Charles along with colleagues and representatives from ABRSM, Classic FM and many journalists! We also had musicians from the Royal College of Music. We all worked together with 6H to create an exciting workshop using the Classical 100 app which is now being used to promote the app throughout England.
